Morinda Citrifolia is more popularly known as noni and it is a bush which is found in tropical lands like India and Hawaii. It has many medicinal properties and the foremost amongst them are that noni is antibacterial, antifungal, sedative, antiseptic, analgesic and is known to have binding properties against diarrhea as well. It is known to be a very powerful disinfectant and so no wonder it is said to have magical properties, with 23 different abilities.


This herb is a slender perennial herb of the evergreen variety and it is a flowering shrub at that and the fruits it bears are of the size of a potato. Keeping aside all this the herb is of immense medicinal value, leaving pineapple behind in the composition of proxeronine. However, the fact remains that the importance of noni is not yet been recognized.

It is fast becoming known as a herb which has many diverse uses; which have not been discovered fully and it has become imperative to save the forests where this herb grows so that the future generations can get something from the bounty of nature. Noni juices would prevent aging and thereby reduce the chances of contracting scores of ailments, which come to a person with age. Noni has proxeronine which modifies into Xeronine, which in itself stores nutrients that are required by the body from time to time. The bottom line remains that Morinda Citrifolia or noni is irreplaceable, as far as medical propensities go. What's more, noni helps in creating new cells and so an ailment like cancer can be fought with it.
