Pasta With Vegetable Dressing
  • Pasta (any, but preferably spaghetti) Sure! Pasta should be of hard wheat varieties.
  • Sauce:
  • 1 onion
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp. of olive or vegetable oil
  • half of the Bulgarian pepper
  • 3-4 fresh tomatoes or a can of tomatoes in  own juice
  • A few spoonfuls of tomato paste
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Provence herbs
  • Black ground pepper
  • Salt
  1. Grind the onion, garlic, and pepper.
  2. Fry in oil for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove the skin from the tomatoes, cut into cubes and add to the onion and garlic.
  4. If you take tomatoes in their own juice, then add them into the pan along with the liquid. 
  5. Stew sauce on low heat for 20 minutes. 
  6. Next, add spices and salt. 
  7. Let it boil and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Boil the pasta.
Serve the pasta with the sauce, garnish with fresh basil.
