A Day in the life of a Dukan Dieter
Many of you might wonder what a day is like for a Dukan Dieter... for me, it is the same as other days, except I carefully and strategically plan all my meals and snacks ahead of time. Either I'm really anal, or just on top of it! Actually, I'm just really busy and I can't afford to get hungry, or else I'll binge on something that I'll regret later. So I try my best to live by the "better safe than sorry" rule. I figure that if I eat a snack here and there and make sure I'm never hungry, I'll be better off than if I was hungry and desperate to go to the closest fast food stop.

As an example, I'll tell you about a typical protein day this week.  

Breakfast:
  •    1 glass of water when I wake up
  •     1/2 cup of coffee with 1 packet of Splenda
  •     1 serving of some type of bread made of oat bran (something I usually bake on weekends)
  •     1 cup of yogurt
  •     1 glass of water after breakfast

Snack:
  •    1 glass of water
  •     1 protein bar

Lunch:
  •     1 serving of some type of meat or seafood
  •     1 glass of water

Snack:
  •    low sugar, low-calorie jello pudding snack
  •     1 diet coke

Dinner:
  •    1 serving of some type of meat or seafood dish
  •     1 glass of water
  •     1 serving of dessert (depends on if I bake something, or if I just eat a pudding snack)
  •     1 glass of water before bed
